Div 06AI early access

Framing is next. Get in before general release.

Wall types and lengths from full sets, unlocking stud, plate, and header quantities. In development now, stated honestly, shaped by early-access estimators.

Manual takeoff works on framing today. The form below is the AI counting list.

Early access: your sets shape the output

Illustrative canvas, not a live count. Your numbers come from your own set

You know this feeling.

Wall 1: 47 studs at 16 on center. Plus kings, plus jacks, plus cripples, plus plates. Now do that for 200 more walls, apply the waste factor, and hope nobody changes the unit mix on Thursday.

The canvas takes the retyping out today. AI counting is what the list below is for.

Framing takeoff (Division 6) is in development at Quoting.ai and available as early access. The engine that counts doors and windows from full drawing sets is being extended to wall types and lengths, which unlock framing packages: studs, plates, headers, and trim adjacency next. Doors and windows are live today. Early-access estimators run real sets through it first and shape the output format.

What will framing takeoff do?

Read wall types from the schedule and legend, trace lengths per type per floor, and reconcile the three sources the way 4 Eyes already does for openings. From wall types and lengths, stud counts at your spacing, plates, and headers become computable. Doors and windows proved the engine on real dense sets first; framing rides the same rails.

What does early access involve?

You send real sets, we run the framing engine on them as capability lands, and your feedback decides output formats before general release. No fake beta theater: commercial terms are agreed when the trade ships. If your sets break it, that is the most useful thing that can happen.

Estimator questions

Is framing takeoff live today?

No. Doors and windows are live; framing is in development. This page exists so you can plan around honest status and get in early, not to sell vaporware.

Will it handle 16 and 24 on center?

Spacing-driven stud math is core scope for the framing package. Early-access estimators decide the defaults and the overrides.
